With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Zahra Ghaffari on December 27th at her home and with her children around her. We will welcome family and friends on January 13th to celebrate her life. Please see below for more information.
Our mother, Zahra, was an incredible woman – a true force of nature. She effortlessly balanced being a loving mother, devoted spouse, and a trailblazer in her time and place. Zahra shattered the glass ceilings surrounding her, proving that nothing was beyond her reach. Her unwavering determination and unyielding spirit inspired her children to believe in their own limitless potential. Zahra’s remarkable sense of purpose and drive never faltered, even until her final hour. She refused to surrender or be dictated by anything outside of her own choices. Today, we gather to celebrate her extraordinary life as a powerhouse and advocate for women – long before it became a popular cause.
Although her absence is deeply felt, we will forever carry the wisdom she imparted upon us. Please share your thoughts and cherished memories of Zahra Ghaffari in our memorial book.
